Discuss your requirements - We'll have a conversation about your ideas and what you want to accomplish with your website.
Cost - For most small businesses the pricing is set, but for larger projects I will create an estimate after our initial conversation.
Let's Do It! - You have agreed and I have now received a sent contract. Initial payment is usually 1/6th of the total and once this is received we are ready to get started.
Research - I'll begin looking at other websites in your industry and I will create a list of 6 or 7 sites that I will have you look at.
Your Turn - Once you look at the sites you will give me a quick synopsis about what you like and don't like about the sites. You are also free to give me additional sites to look at. This exercise is one of the most important things in the whole process as it helps me to get an understanding of the style of site that you like and that you don't like.
Design - I will create a mockup of the homepage and key interior pages. You will then get a chance to see the concept that we are going for. After you have reviewed and approved the concept we will move onto the next step. This is the time to make changes to the "look and feel" of the site.
Development - After approval of the design I will begin developing the site and all the interior pages.
Training - We will teach you how to use the Content Management System so you can edit and add to your website. FYI, this system is dead simple to use and if you can use a word processor and upload pictures you will have everything you need to know in less than a half hour. If there are some questions after the training, never fear, because we are here to ensure that everything works right for you.
Testing and Deployment - I will do cross-browser and device testing, before deploying your new website.
